First and foremost, Scott is a proud husband to Jodie and father of Zara and Boyd.
Since 1994 Scott has made the visual medium his profession of choice, first working his way through regional Australia as a TV news reporter in Cairns, Lismore and Tamworth, before embarking on an eight-year career at Network Ten in Brisbane. He was a news and sports reporter, anchor and kids TV producer and presenter. Scott had always made short films and documentaries in his spare time, so in 2008 decided to launch SB Productions full time, making videos for a range of clients. In 2011, Scott became the full time Video Producer for Brisbane Times, during which time he was the Fairfax Video Journalist at the 2012 London Olympic Games. In June, 2017, Scott again went full time into SB Productions. |
Video Production involves more than just shooting and editing.
It means working with clients to find out what their true motivation is behind having a video made. To attract more customers? Raise awareness of a brand? Or perhaps explain an issue in simple terms. So you need someone able work out what the story angle is and how best to tell it. Whether it be business, wedding, news, sport or family, there is a story waiting to be told. It's the Videographer's job to plan the day, find the best shots, make changes on the run if necessary, and never deviate from the core reason the client wants a video in the first place. - Scott Beveridge |

Scott about to interview the women's winner of the
City2South fun run, Clare Geraghty, in Brisbane, June 2014.
"When I watched the movie it brought me to tears because I was able to watch my special day and see all the special things that I didn't notice on the day. What you have put together is beautiful and even Tony, who initially wasn't convinced we needed to have a video, is so glad we had you there. So thank you Scott for turning our wedding day into a beautiful movie."
